About us

A welcome from Nick

Stay Helios is a small, owner-run apartment-hotel on the quiet side of Faliraki, built around the way we’d want to be hosted ourselves.

Our philosophy

Our philosophy

Hospitality is the work, the place is the canvas, the architecture sets the tone.

We opened Stay Helios because we believe a great holiday starts with a place that feels intentional — considered design, real materials, and a host who actually lives here. Every detail, from the poured-concrete floors to the courtyard garden, was chosen to make your mornings slower and your evenings longer.

The aesthetic

Modern-industrial lines softened by Mediterranean warmth.

Concrete, oak, linen and light — the apartments draw on industrial simplicity but stay warm. Big windows, planted terraces and quiet corners everywhere. The pool catches the afternoon sun; the courtyard holds the scent of jasmine well into the evening.

Getting Here

Easy to reach, easy to explore

Car hire is available at the airport and in Faliraki. The drive from the airport to Stay Helios takes about 20 minutes along a well-signposted coastal road. On-site parking is free for guests, and our front desk can arrange rental cars and scooters for day trips.

A quiet oasis

The setting

A quiet oasis on the gentle side of Faliraki.

We sit on a residential block lined with gardens, a two-minute walk from the nearest beach and ten minutes on foot from the centre. The bus stop is right outside, Rhodes Town is fourteen kilometres up the coast, and the airport is a short drive away. Close to everything, but quiet enough to hear the cicadas.

Συμβουλές

Nick recommends…

A few personal picks from the host — places, habits and small things that make Rhodes feel like home.

01

Morning swim at Mandomata

The nearest beach, just two minutes on foot. Go early, before the sunbeds fill up, and you’ll have the water almost to yourself.

02

Dinner in the Old Town

Drive or take the bus to Rhodes Old Town. Walk the cobblestones first, then eat at one of the tavernas tucked behind the harbour.

03

Lindos at golden hour

Visit the Acropolis of Lindos late in the afternoon. The light is extraordinary and the crowds thin out after four.

04

A slow breakfast

Don’t rush it. Our breakfast is meant to be lingered over — fruit, eggs, strong coffee, and a plan that can wait.
